Our approach
We built the 5 Brain Abilities Assessment around an Input-Process-Output model measuring Attention, Cognitive Visual ability, Memory, Logical Reasoning, and Processing Speed, with child profiles, progress tracking over time, and personalized parenting guidance — hardened with email validation and reCAPTCHA.

Parents across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Brunei can now assess and track their child's cognitive development and receive tailored learning recommendations, giving Math Monkey a differentiated, data-driven lead-generation and engagement tool.

About 5Brain
5Brain is an EdTech platform focused on children's cognitive development assessment, offering the "5 Brain Abilities Assessment" (5BA). This diagnostic tool evaluates children across five core cognitive areas: Attention, Cognitive Visual ability, Memory, Logical Reasoning, and Processing Speed, using an Input-Process-Output model to explain how a child's brain functions during learning.
The platform enables parents to create child profiles, take structured cognitive assessments, track results over time, and receive personalized parenting guidance and educational program recommendations. Complimentary demo assessments are available for new users.
Key features include a multi-step registration system with username availability checking and password strength validation, child profile management, educational content on growth mindset vs. fixed mindset, behavioral understanding guidance, and parenting tips. The platform integrates Abstract API for email validation, Google reCAPTCHA for security, and Google Analytics for usage tracking. It targets parents of children aged 4-12 in Southeast and East Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Brunei).
